| The "Tribute to Rudolf Nureyev" followed respectfully the choreography that Nureyev himself created, in explicit detail, for the funeral service for him that was performed at the Paris Opera on Tuesday, January 12,1993.
As that service was the celebration in Europe of his great gifts to us, this memorial was a counterpart celebration in America, where we continued to be equally in his debt. |
