| Walt Whitman was one of the greatest poets to spring from the shores of the New World.
This gift from the City of Washington to the City of Moscow is to be installed on the grounds of the Moscow State University during the Fall of 2008. The Foundation was instrumental in coordinating the efforts of organizations, individuals and institutions from both countries, from conception through design and final installation of the work by noted Russian sculptor Alexander Bourganov. |
